GCS Wins Medical Center Construction Consulting Contract in the Republic of Congo

PARIS, FRANCE, July 7, 2014 /EINPresswire.com/ -- PARIS, FRANCE - Europ Assistance - Global Corporate Solutions (GCS) has been awarded a consultancy service contract by the Congolese company “S.A. Polyclinique Edith Lucie” to support the construction of a new medical center of excellence in Brazzaville, scheduled to open in 2015.

The future “Polyclinique Edith Lucie” will be the medical center of reference in Congo’s capital city and in the whole region, offering a complete healthcare solution comprising general and specialized medicine as well as a high-tech advanced surgery (including outpatient surgery). The new medical center will be equipped with a state-of-the-art technical platform (operating theater, scanner, MRI, numerical x-ray, mammography, and laboratory) allowing the provision of complex medical treatment within a new, modern and welcoming establishment. Additionally, a maternity will include a 2 beds delivery room as well as a neonatal nursery. A pharmacy and a para-pharmacy will be opened 24/7. The new medical center will have its proprietary fleet of ground medical transport vehicles as well as a helipad for air-transportation to the clinic or to the airport in case of emergency evacuation.

Europ Assistance - Global Corporate Solutions (GCS) will accompany the whole construction phase of the medical center. Acting as medical expert, IT and information systems specialist, advisor in the set-up of the patient’s journey and international project management, GCS will play a key role in setting-up this new best-in-class healthcare solution in Brazzaville, guarantying access to international standards of medical care for national and expatriate populations.
