Honda Power Equipment offers more than 60 models in six major product families:

• Lawn Mowers: 21-inch push-type and self-propelled models for premium residential and commercial gardening applications.Honda 's full line of lawn mowers meets rigorous California Air Resources Board (CARB) standards, ensuring their availability and regulatory compliance in all 50 states.

• Pumps: a wide variety of general de-watering, multi-purpose, commercial, and submersible models with discharge capacities from 37 to 433 gallons per minute.

• Snow blowers: wheel drive, track drive, and lightweight models capable of moving from 46.0 to 91.0 tons of snow per hour.

• Tillers: mini- mid- and rear-tine models.

• Trimmers: three trimmer models in a variety of trim heads, engine sizes, and handle design choices.

A network of nearly 3,800 independent Honda Power Equipment Dealers sells Honda products throughout the United States. Honda Engines

Honda Engines produces 30 models with more than 400 variations that supply reliable power for applications from pressure washers and hobbyist applications to commercial mowers, lawn tractors, and generators. Defining Net Power in Honda Engines

The SAE J1349 standard measures net horsepower with the manufacturer 's production muffler and air cleaner in place. Net horsepower more closely correlates with the power the operator will experience when using a Honda engine powered product. The power rating of the engines indicated in this document measures the net power output at 3,600 rpm (7,000 rpm for model GXH50, GXV50, GX25 and GX35) and net torque at 2,500 rpm, as tested on a production engine. Mass production engines may vary from this value.

Actual power output for the engine installed in the final machine will vary depending on numerous factors, including the operational speed of the engine in application, environmental conditions, maintenance and other variables.

Honda Marine

For 40 years, Honda has produced a line of quiet, fuel efficient, and reliable four-stroke outboard marine engines. Honda Marine offers a wide variety of four-stroke outboards ranging from 2 to 250 horsepower.

Manufacturing and R

Honda Power Equipment products are assembled at 11 Honda manufacturing facilities around the world, including Honda Power Equipment Mfg., Inc., (HPE) located in Swepsonville, North Carolina. Research, development, and testing activities are conducted at Honda R Americas, Inc., also located in North Carolina, and Honda R Co., Ltd., in Japan.

HPE has boosted its general purpose engine production to 1,500,000 engines per year for use by Honda and other OEMs. In addition to engines, HPE produces Honda lawn mowers, snow blowers, pumps, tillers and string trimmers. In August 2014, HPE marked the 30th anniversary of its operations by announcing a new $8.5 million investment in plant operations to innovate production processes and add new products. Among other changes, the plant will add a new line for the production of two-stage snow blowers and prepare for the addition of Honda generators to its already diverse production lineup.
