SMT Nigeria inaugurated its new VOLVO Service Center in Abuja
ABUJA, NIGERIA, October 22, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- 11th of October 2013… SMT Nigeria officially inaugurated its new Volvo Service Center in Abuja. A premises of over 2 hectares, which offers sales and support of the full range of Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment & Volvo Penta.
SMT Nigeria has clearly renewed its commitment to improve sales and after sales support in Nigeria with this new investment at the capital city of Abuja.
SMT Nigeria is a joint venture between Nigeria investment partner, Chairman Chief (Dr) Michael Ade Ojo and SMT Group, Volvo distributor in Central & West Africa.
This branch is the latest to join the SMT Group network; this makes the 4th branch with 3 others in Lagos, Port Harcourt & Kano. In Africa, SMT Group has now 17 sites in 13 countries, making a significant presence in Central & West Africa.
The new Volvo Service Center, Abuja Branch, which was officially opened by the Chairman Chief (Dr) Michael Ade Ojo is located in a prime location for easy access to and in the industrial area where all the main transporters are based.
The premises covers a custom built reception area, a 10-bay workshop with 1 full length inspection pit, and a comprehensive parts store.
The opening of SMT Nigeria in Abuja has created over a dozen of new jobs, which will grow in line with the business.
Chairman Chief (Dr) Michael Ade Ojo says in his welcome speech: “It was an easy decision for the key stakeholders of SMT Nigeria to agree and support the building of this magnificent Volvo edifice in the heart of this rapidly developing city. The opening of this Volvo Centre is a clear evidence of real progression and how more dreams can become a reality if well planned and strategically executed. This Volvo Abuja office is strategic, especially in boosting Volvo activities in Nigeria’s capital. This move will indeed contribute to further improve on the swift provision of sales and after-sales services nationwide”.
