El Puente is a free newspaper in Spanish from Indiana ( United States ), created in 1992 . Printed by the South Bend Tribune. El Puente is the first Hispanic newspaper in Indiana. The name of the newspaper is because its creators understand that the newspaper is a bridge between the Hispanic community of Indiana and the rest of the English-speaking population, because the newspaper is published in both languages.
