Boeing Statement on Allied Air Cargo Accident

SEATTLE, June 2, 2012 – The Boeing Company offers its deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those lost as a result of an accident involving an Allied Air Cargo 727-200 Freighter in Accra Ghana, and extends its wishes for the recovery of those injured.

Boeing stands ready to provide technical assistance to the Civil Aviation Authority of Ghana through the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board.

In accordance with the international protocol that governs aviation accident investigations, all inquiries about the investigation must be directed to the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority.
