Bachmann Calls for North Korea to be Re-Added to U.S. State Sponsor of Terrorism List
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) released the following statement calling for North Korea to be re-added to the U.S. State Sponsor of Terrorism list:
“Yesterday's attempted launch by the North Koreans is a violation of international law and represents that nation’s continued commitment to nuclear weapons. North Korea’s ongoing aggression, including their attempted launch, justifies re-adding North Korea to the State Sponsor of Terrorism list. North Korea has assisted the Iranians in obtaining missile technology necessary for the delivery of nuclear weapons and continues to act aggressively toward its neighbor, South Korea. These actions bring continued unrest to the region. The United States, along with its allies, must continue to hold North Korea accountable for its actions and be vigilant in stopping them from further nuclear weapons proliferation or the missile technology for delivering those weapons.”
