Educator Conference Gives Inside Look at Library of Congress Resources
(Washington, D.C.) Yesterday, educators from Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District took part in an online Educator Conference sponsored by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) and the Library of Congress. During the conference, Cheryl Lederle, an Educational Resource Specialist at the Library of Congress, presented classroom materials and resources that are available to educators.
Following the conference, Bachmann shared why she believed this conference was such a helpful event for teachers in her district:
“I am grateful to the Library of Congress for teaming up with my office to make this event possible for teachers across the Sixth District. It is my hope that by understanding the wide array of resources the Library offers to educators, teachers in the Sixth District will be able to greatly enhance the educational experience for thousands of Minnesota’s next generation.”
