Urban Adventures Companies, Inc. (UAC), is doubling down on its commitment to the LGBTQ+ community by launching the WorldPride Donation Match fundraiser—pledging to match up to $100,000 in donations for Capital Pride Alliance’s GivePride365 initiative. With this effort, UAC aims to contribute a total of $200,000 to support LGBTQ+ organizations throughout the National Capital Region.

The GivePride365 fund provides year-round visibility and financial assistance to local 501(c)(3) nonprofits that serve LGBTQ+ individuals, ensuring sustained support beyond Pride Month. This initiative aligns with the 50th anniversary of Pride in Washington, DC, and the city’s upcoming role as host of World Pride 2025. World Pride Celebrations will take place in the city from May 17-June 8.

UAC will host a lineup of vibrant events and activities for World Pride 2025 at its lifestyle and wellness businesses, including participation in the Capital Pride Parade. Events at VIDA to fundraise for GivePride365 will include donation-driven group fitness classes, MyZone challenges, partnerships with local businesses, and other community-driven events.
