After more than 50 years of dedication and leadership, Chairman Greg Hemmingsen announced his retirement. Greg’s tenure at The CISCO Companies has been defined by his unwavering commitment to the company’s values of quality, integrity and service. Under his guidance, CISCO has grown to be one of the largest agricultural distributors across the Midwest.

With Greg’s retirement, The CISCO Companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Markle as the sole owner of the company. Natalie, currently serving as President and CEO, has been an integral part of CISCO for more than 21 years.

Reflecting on her journey, Natalie shared, “I grew up working in my dad’s feed store, where I developed a deep love for the agricultural industry and its people. More than 21 years ago Greg Hemmingsen gave me the chance to begin my career at CISCO. From starting in customer service to becoming an owner in 2016 and then President and CEO in 2020, I never imagined I would one day have the honor of becoming the sole owner of this incredible company. I am deeply grateful to Greg and the Hemmingsen family for their trust and mentorship.”

As CISCO celebrates its 60th year, Natalie is focused on building upon the company’s strong foundation, fostering innovation and maintaining the values that have made CISCO a leader in the seed industry.
