Insurance companies score big win on COVID coverage in state high court
In a major victory for insurance companies, the California Supreme Court ruled unanimously Thursday that businesses that were forced to shut down because of COVID-19, or had to cancel concerts or sporting events during the pandemic, did not suffer property damage that was covered by insurance.
