Dole Food Company, Inc. (NYSE: DOLE) today announced the launch of its new DOLE Garden Kit. A perfect gift for the novice gardener, the Garden Kit includes 12 seed varieties, including nutrition powerhouses broccoli, tomatoes, kale and carrots. The kit also provides peat pots, trays, row markers and a journal filled with gardening tips and recipes.

The experts at the Dole Nutrition Institute designed the Garden Kits to be simple and fun to use, helping young people learn how food is grown while instilling healthy eating habits.
