Hurley has been involved with the Arizona cannabis market since its beginning. At Rose Law Group, the first firm to build a cannabis law department in Arizona, he represented clients in a spectrum of legal and regulatory concerns, from the first steps to shape the statewide initiative to specifics around business operations.
Hurley played a critical part in the 2016 and 2020 initiatives to legalize recreational cannabis in Arizona. He is also a founding member of the National Cannabis Industry Association and the Arizona Dispensaries Association.
Hurley will continue to lead the cannabis law department with an additional focus on blockchain, Web3, AI, and other technological innovations.
