An address point on a map with no additional structure information provides little to no context to call takers as they direct emergency responders; without GIS-level indoor maps, dispatchers are left to form their situational awareness without key building-specific details as they inform the responders. Ultimately, this can lead to less than optimal in-structure response time once personnel are on scene.
