Winston Salem, North Carolina - Massage Therapist Nikki and Nike Roach of 6th Sense Health and Wellness Center will appear in a new fall advertising campaign for High Point Regional Health System. The Winston-Salem couple was asked to be a part of the campaign because they have had a positive experience birthing three children at the High Point Regional.

The Roach family -- including all three children -- will appear in a multi-media campaign including television, radio, Internet, billboard, and print media. "It was a thrill to work with such a beautiful family and Nikki and Nike's family will help other families in the Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem and surrounding communities appreciate HPRHS as their favorite medical center," said Director of Public Relation Tracie Blackman.

"I went to High Point Regional Health System on the advice of a physician assistant friend of ours that indicated that they had a wonderful experience with the hospital," said Nikki Roach, the mother of three healthy boys. "This was due to the small sizes, nimbleness and personal interaction by the doctors, nurses and staff.

"We sent a thank you note to the hospital and they contacted us," she said.

In a statement to the couple, High Point Regional President Jeffrey S. Miller said, "Your help with our promotion program is greatly appreciated and the hospital will benefit from your generosity."

He added, "Thank you for sharing your comment and choosing High Point Regional."

Research shows 78 percent of consumers trust peer recommendations, while only 14 percent trust ads.

" I would not have even known about the efforts of HPRHS if not for the recommendation of Nike and Nikki," said Lisa Fields, founder of Lisa Fields & Associates in Greensboro " I trust these two people because I know that they have consistently demonstrated the same passion for participatory medicine by collaborating with me and other health care partners for my health care needs."

Fields, a Stanford EPatient and adult education scholar with a master's degree in adult education from North Carolina A&T State University, added,, " I know that they would not be a part of any health organization that did not share their patient centered wellness mission."

Said 6th Sense Health and Wellness Chief - and parent - Nike Roach, " "As health and wellness providers, we try to look for other institutions that share our love of caring for each patient and clients,"

"Being on the other side as it were, you get a sense that HPRHS really does take the time to learn who each patient is and how to better provide superior health services at a small hospital."Roach said.

6th Sense Health and Wellness Center was founded in Forsyth County in 1997 and provides massage therapy, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, fitness training and herbal therapy. The company has been promoting natural health in the region since its inception and is active in the local civic and business community including the Winston Salem Chamber of Commerce.
