Starting November 15, Starbucks customers can experience the NEW Starbucks Cup Magic app, an interactive app that brings Starbucks Holiday characters to life. As part of Starbucks focus on innovation and elevating the Holiday experience, customers can download and use the app to discover Starbucks Holiday characters as they leap to life in merry holiday scenes by scanning Starbucks iconic red cups, Holiday coffee bags and store signage. This fun and festive app leverages cutting edge technology to provide customers a meaningful experience this holiday season.
Experience Augmented Reality
Starbucks Cup Magic app incorporates the latest in augmented reality technology to offer an animated visual experience. Download the app, scan and watch the skater jump and twirl, the squirrel collect nuts, the carolers sing, and the sledder whoosh down a snow-covered hill. You can even tap the screen to interact with the characters and spur them on to new activities. See if you can unlock all five characters by the end of the season!
Starting November 15, Starbucks Cup Magic app will be available for download in the U.S. for iPhone® 3GS+ and iPod Touch® that run iOS 3 and above, and will be available soon to Android™-powered devices running 2.2 and above.
