The U.S. Mission in Türkiye is pleased to share the 2022 Open Doors Report on international and U.S. student mobility, which the U.S. Department of State sponsors every year in collaboration with the Institute of International Education.
Ambassador Jeffry Flake welcomed the report, saying: “Thanks to the breadth and variety of education programs in the United States, any student can find a program that fits his or her needs. We welcomed the increase in Turkish students in the 2021-22 academic year. We want more Turkish students to be able to benefit from U.S. education.”
International student mobility is central to diplomacy, innovation, economic prosperity, and national security. As Secretary Blinken has said, it is a “foreign policy imperative.”
