TCEQ approves fines totaling $263,602
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $197,328 against 11 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: two air quality, one multi-media, two municipal wastewater discharges, one petroleum storage tank, and three public water systems.
Default orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: two municipal solid waste.
In addition, on Jan. 31, the executive director approved penalties totaling $66,274 against 34 entities.
