PKC Group, part of Motherson Group, expands operations in Klaipėda
PKC Group is looking to expand its operations in Lithuania. After setting up manufacturing premises in the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone earlier this year, PKC Group is investing in long-term assets and new technologies to ensure the high quality and efficiency of production processes. To increase production capacity, the company is also looking to hire an additional 100 employees, including Quality Technicians, Assembly Operators, Material Handlers, and Maintenance Technicians.
According to Mr Dinescu, PKC Group is open to hiring Lithuanian talent of all levels of qualifications. “While we expect candidates for certain specialist positions to have a technical engineering and production background, complete beginners can use our internal teaching programmes,” he explains. “We are an organisation that constantly learns, improves, and invests in cutting-edge IT solutions, giving our employees ample opportunity for professional development.”
According to Elijus Čivilis, General Manager at Invest Lithuania, PKC Group’s expansion in Klaipėda demonstrates that Lithuania’s regions provide the right talent and infrastructure for international manufacturers.
“This decision is an endorsement of the city’s welcoming investment climate and multi-industry manufacturing know-how. I believe that the Klaipėda facility will help PKC Group and Motherson to continuously deliver world-class products to customers globally.”
