Bachmann Presents High School Seniors with Congressional Certificates of Merit
On Saturday, May 7, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) presented the Congressional Certificate of Merit to six high school seniors from Minnesota’s Sixth Congressional District. Bachmann said of the honorees:
"The Congressional Certificate of Merit is a notable achievement capping off these students’ high school careers. Their service to fellow students, their neighbors and communities has not gone unnoticed and they should be proud of their accomplishments.
"Each of these seniors took the time and dedication needed to maintain academic excellence, even while serving those around them. I believe their hard work has prepared them for even greater challenges and opportunities for service in the years ahead. I am honored to represent them in Congress and I urge them to keep up the good work!"
