C-Level: MedQuist Names Finance Chief

James, the company's current co-chief operating officer, has been named as its chief financial officer effective November 22.

James will also continue to serve as MedQuist co-COO. James served as the COO for Spheris Inc., an outsource provider of clinical documentation technology and services, from 2006 until April 2010, when MedQuist and its majority shareholder, CBay Inc., purchased substantially all of the assets of Spheris. Prior to that, James served as the CFO for Spheris from 2001 to 2006. James joined Spheris in November 1999 as the company's controller.
