The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) released the updated version of the "2009 Renewable Energy Data Book (PDF 10.1 MB) Download Adobe Reader," which was produced by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The data book uses a graphical format to present U.S. energy statistics and information on renewable electricity in the United States, global renewable energy development, clean energy investments, and renewable technologies data. NREL also produced the "2009 U.S. State Clean Energy Data Book (PDF 10.4 MB) Download Adobe Reader" for EERE's Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program. This publication provides a graphical summary of the status of state-level energy efficiency and renewable energy developments and supporting policy.
