New children's book follows heartwarming tale of lost-and-found farm animals
PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. (MMD Newswire) August 30, 2010 -- Chasing Little Chicks by Ghee Bouche' follows the fictional tale of a young girl and her mischievous chicks that have escaped on the farm.
When Anna checks on her little chicks in the barn, she discovers they're no longer in their safe, little spot. Chasing Little Chicks endeavors to illustrate Anna's hide-and-seek adventure with her chicks throughout the farm she lives on, as well as the poetic story about the day's events that she later pens with her father.
Bouche', who grew up around animals, says his daughters are also exposed to many farm animals while attending school at Sunfield Farm. Chasing Little Chicks was written to not only channel the family's love for animals, but to encompass a deeper message on being lost and found.
