Cabela's moving in…tenant Must Vacate...

...Ashley Furniture HomeStore In Springfield, Oregon
Lost Their Lease and Will be forced to Close…
Furniture will be Liquidated Regardless of Cost!

Springfield, Oregon July 27, 2010 -- Because a new lease has been awarded to Cabela's, the Springfield location of the Ashley Furniture HomeStore, an almost two acre location, will close after a forced short term liquidation of all furniture. Ashley will not relocate any Springfield inventory. While inventory remains at the Ashley Springfield location, this store will conduct:

A Total Inventory -Total Liquidation Event!

Everything at the Ashley Springfield store must be immediately sold to the bare walls and this store location closed.Since 2006 this Ashley Furniture HomeStore has successfully provided thousands of Oregon residents with fine quality home furnishings at Ashley direct prices. All other Ashley locations are not affected by the need to liquidate all inventories and will continue to offer merchandise at regular prices.

Although disappointed with loosing the Springfield location, the store closing and total liquidation at this location provides the store owners an opportunity to say "Thank You" to local customers by offering once in a life time prices below cost.
"The total liquidation of our Springfield store will begin on August 5th and last only as long as inventory remains," said Brent Loogman CEO/President of Ashley HomeStore of Springfield, a licensee of the Ashley Furniture HomeStore. Loogman went on to say, "We have price reductions of up to 75% on every item in the store including living rooms, bedrooms, dining sets, recliners, and thousands of fine accessories, objects of art and rugs. Over $5 million dollars of fine home furnishings must be sold as quickly as possible and immediately liquidated regardless of cost at the lowest prices in the store's history."

Loogman continued, "Every item in our multi-million dollar inventory at Springfield will be sold, regardless of what we paid for the inventory. We are forced to move immediately and this is a wall-to-wall total sell-off."

The decision to close the Springfield Ashley Furniture Homestore showroom, was directed by a registered letter from the landlord to Brent Loogman, who has revealed plans for the store closing event. In announcing the closing, Loogman stated, "While we knew there were discussions with Cabela's and think this is a good addition for the community, it forces us to act quickly. The Ashley Furniture HomeStore has been an important part of Springfield for a very long time and we don't want to adversely affect the community or the great reputation we have enjoyed here. This is why we are pricing everything to sell as quickly as possible. Everyone involved will make every effort to make this liquidation event a benefit to our customers and the community."

Loogman continued saying "We've decided to offer prices below our costs. This event will give the area residents the opportunity to own fine home furnishings at once-in-a-lifetime savings."

Details:

The Springfield store closing total liquidation will begin on Thursday, August 5th, and will continue until all merchandise is sold regardless of cost. Advisors to the event will be Illinois based Deere Park & Associates, one of the leading consultants to the furniture industry. According to Brent Loogman, "Deere Park & Associates was clearly the best furniture consultant in terms of reliability, integrity, professionalism, resources, and proven success. It is very important to us to maintain the standards and reputation we expect to keep."
