June 12, 2010 (FinancialWire) (Go to http://www.financialwire.net/?s=ftrdnwswnd for all of today’s featured news.) — Dolphin Digital Media, Inc. (OTCBB: DPDM) said it is now able to partner with third party websites to create closed environments that require users to log in with a fingerprint. The first instance of this capability will be the launch next Wednesday, June 16, of a fantasy baseball site, open only to members of Dolphin Surf. Dolphin Digital Media teamed up with AmericanEagle.com in order to build the fantasy sports application. AmericanEagle.com is a family-owned, privately-held company that specializes in web site development.
With parental permission, Dolphin Surf members will be able to access the Dolphin fantasy site from their homepage on DolphinSurf.com. Users can participate in weekly fantasy baseball, chat online with their friends while playing, with no personally identifiable information being passed from Dolphin Secure to the Dolphin fantasy site, maintaining the privacy of Dolphin Secure members. Parents who do not want their children to participate can log into their Parent Dashboard and uncheck the Fantasy Sports box.
Dolphin Surf plans to expand the fantasy sports offerings to include football, NASCAR, basketball, and other popular sports. Fantasy elements tied to pop-culture topics such as popular awards shows are also planned.
Dolphin Digital Media creates and manages child-friendly social networking websites utilizing state-of-the-art fingerprint identification technology.
