President Zardari criticizes Obama Administration policy of linking Pakistan - Afghanistan

Islamabad (Dawn.com): ‘Afghanistan and Pakistan are distinctly different countries and cannot be lumped together for any reason,’ said the Pakistani President during an interview with Financial Times. The Pakistani president was critical of the Obama Administration policy of linking Afghanistan and Pakistan to end Taliban insurgency. US must give drone technology to Pakistan - Musharraf

Washington (Dawn.com): Former Pakistan President, Musharraf, told Fox News that US must transfer drone technology to Pakistan. Islamabad (Dawn.com): The inflation rate that touched its highest in October this year by over 25% receded to the 20 months lowest in August. The reports issued by Federal Bureau of Statistics show that since October the CPI dropped by 10.69%. The improvement in food supply is cited to be the reason of the drop in inflation rate. Taking benefit of decline in inflation State Bank of Pakistan is considering interest rate cut to accelerate the ailing economic growth.

And we are not going to turn our backs as we have in the past.’
