SuperShuttle Buys Houston Airport Transportation Operations
September 2, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Veolia Environment (NYSE: VE) SuperShuttle International, Inc. airport ground transportation unit has acquired all of its Houston airport transportation operations from its franchise Adams Systems, LLC.
According to SuperShuttle, the Houston operation will serve Houston’s Hobby and Bush Intercontinental Airports. The purchase price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
Under the deal, SuperShuttle will acquire 60 vans and around 40 employees in the acquisition.
Phoenix-based SuperShuttle International serves 33 airports in the U.S. The company was acquired by Paris-based Veolia in 2007.
