August 24, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Swiss engineering firm Foster Wheeler AG (NASDAQ: FWLT) said that its American subsidiary has been awarded a detailed design contract by a confidential client for a chemicals project in the United States.

Foster Wheeler said the total installed cost for the project is estimated at $100 million. Foster Wheeler’s contract value, which was not disclosed, was included in the company’s second-quarter 2009 results.
