August 11, 2009 (FinancialWire) — Bristow Group Inc. (NYSE: BRS) has promoted Elizabeth D. Brumley to the position of chief financial officer. Brumley, joined the company in November 2005, was appointed acting CFO in April.

Before joining Bristow, Brumley was the vice president and controller of Noble Drilling Services. She also previously served in various positions at Maxxam (AMEX: MXM), where she ultimately became VP and controller in December 2003.

Houston-based Bristow Group is a provider of helicopter services to the offshore energy industry.
