China In-Focus: Chen Named CFO Of China Natural Gas
April 28, 2009 (FinancialWire) — China Natural Gas, Inc. (OTCBB: CHNG) has appointed Veronica Jing Chen as its chief financial officer, effective May 1. She was formerly CFO of two other Chinese firms, China Valve Technology (OTCBB: CVVT) and Origin Agritech.
Before that, Chen served as senior director of finance at iKang Healthcare, director of finance at eLong (NASDAQ: LONG) and finance manager of the North China region for Eli Lilly Asia’s (NYSE: LLY) China representative office.
Chen currently holds memberships with CPA Australia and The National Institute of Accountants.
China-based China Natural Gas is a natural gas retailing company that owns and operates a network of CNG filling stations as well as a 120-kilometer compressed natural gas pipeline in Xi’an, a Chinese city with population of 8.5 million.
CHNG retails natural gas at company-owned filling stations, delivers natural gas services to residential, commercial and industrial customers, and converts gasoline-fueled vehicles to hybrid powered vehicles.
