Miles Media Co-Founder Receives 2007 Larry Dovichi Award
GIG HARBOR, Wash.--Miles Media, Inc., a strategic marketing, branding and advertising agency, today announced that co-founder Maggie Miles has won the prestigious 2007 Larry Dovichi Award for outstanding achievement and service to the newspaper industry. The award was established by the Western States Co-Op Advertising Newspaper Network (WESTCANN) and is named for the recently retired co-op advertising pioneer, Larry Dovichi, of The Merced Sun-Star (CA).
For more than 15 years, Miles and her agency have represented top newspapers in the Pacific Northwest, including: the Tacoma News-Tribune, a McClatchy publication within the third-largest newspaper company in the U.S.; Oregon's largest newspaper, The Oregonian; and Horvitz Newspapers, serving Washington readerships within greater King, Clallam and Jefferson counties.
