Acacia Technologies Enters into License Agreement with SPSS
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTG) announced today that its Disc Link Corporation subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with SPSS Inc. covering patents relating to portable storage devices with links. The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas with respect to certain SPSS products.
The portable storage devices with links technology generally relates to products sold or distributed on CDs or DVDs that include a link to retrieve additional data via the Internet.
