HC Innovations Subsidiary, Enhanced Care Initiatives, Expands Management Team

SHELTON, Conn.--HC Innovations, Inc. (OTCBB: HCNV), a specialty care disease management company, today announced that Brett I. Cohen and Maureen A. Mulvey have been named to newly created positions at Enhanced Care Initiatives, Inc. (ECI), the wholly owned subsidiary and Management Company for all HC Innovations operating divisions. Brett Cohen was named Vice President, Strategic Development, and Maureen Mulvey was named Director of Human Resources.

Mr. Cohen brings over 12 years of executive and industry experience to the Company. Most recently, he served as Senior Director, Operations and Finance for the New England operations of Evercare, a division of United Healthcare, which provides health plans and care management to nursing home residents and community-based chronically ill individuals. Prior to his tenure with Evercare, Mr. Cohen served as Vice President, Business Development and Clinical Research Administration for Clinical Research Consultants, Inc., a site management organization specializing in clinical trials of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products. While with Clinical Research Consultants, Inc., Mr. Cohen developed and executed a business plan and market entry strategy that produced revenue growth of over 150% and increased profit margin from 14% to 26% over a three-year period. He negotiated the sale of the company in 2000 and was responsible for the integration with the buyer. Mr. Cohen has an MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Psychology from Yale University.

Prior to joining HC Innovations, Ms. Mulvey worked at Danbury, Connecticut-based Bristol Technology, Inc. Having joined Bristol in 1995 as its first human resources professional, she advanced to more senior positions during her 12-year tenure and was named Vice President of Human Resources in 2001. As Vice President of Human Resources, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, performance, training, employee relations, immigration processing, multinational assimilation, career development and succession planning. During Bristol's acquisition in 2007, Ms. Mulvey was responsible for the integration of Bristol's human resources programs with the acquirer, Hewlett Packard. Prior to joining Bristol, Ms. Mulvey had a successful career in human resource management for IBM Corporation in White Plains, NY. She has an MBA in Human Resource Management and a BA in Communications/Management from Pace University.
