Million Dollar Dream Home to Be Raffled for Charity
LAGUNA BEACH, California -- Southern California Alcohol and Drug Recovery Foundation (SCADRF) has been named as the recipient of proceeds from the raffle of a new Mediterranean-inspired custom-built Huntington Beach home. The foundation provides treatment and transitional living services to men, women and adolescents who are recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction. Proceeds from the home raffle will allow SCADRF to provide essentials, such as food, clothing, and shelter for individuals who are looking for a fresh start, as well as vocational training, counseling programs, employment assistance, and medical support to help them in their recovery. SCADRF was founded in 2002 with the goal of improving the success rate of recovering alcoholics and drug addicts.
The custom home up for grabs is located one block from the beach in "Surf City USA", Huntington Beach, California, an area known throughout the country for its desirable climate, fantastic surfing, and friendly locals.
