The unprecedented wildfires raging across the American West are behind the design of “Incendio”, a collection of handcrafted pieces that make a statement

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA, September 22, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Los Angeles-based Italian designer Maddalena Bearzi introduces her latest jewelry. The theme of this unique and handmade collection reflects the severe and uncontrolled wildfires and their devastating impact on our ecosystem. This flame-inspired jewelry is a reminder of how climate change is fueling fires in the West and a reminder that we are destroying the only planet we have.

MADDALENA BEARZI is known for her remarkable craftsmanship of one-off wearable sculpture and her sustainable limited-edition collections. All work is done by hand, and nothing is mass-produced. This means that each one-off piece signed by the designer is, and will always remain an original jewel.

MADDALENA BEARZI JEWELRY can be found in shops and galleries in California and around the world – including the renowned Hauser & Wirth Museum shop, and on the designer’s online store.

One-off, limited edition, and textile pieces have a unique Italian name and their own nature-inspired story, including the new “Incendio” jewelry. This latest distinctive collection includes rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and unisex designs that accommodate a range of personal styles and budgets.

Ten percent of sales from the “Incendio” jewelry will be donated to the California Wildfire Relief Fund.

About the Designer - Maddalena Bearzi is not only an Italian jewelry artist but also a recognized marine biologist and the President of the non-profit organization Ocean Conservation Society. She has traveled extensively for over 25 years studying wild dolphins and other animals, and learning new ways to express herself. She has published three books, hundreds of scientific and popular articles, and she is a National Geographic official blogger. Maddalena began to pursue her passion for jewelry crafts on her own and later studied metalsmithing at the University of California, Los Angeles.
