Based in Breda, the Netherlands, Hygienic Process Systems BV will work in partnership with HPS Product Recovery Solutions to deliver pigging and liquid transfer projects to companies throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

HPS Product Recovery Solutions is a UK company with offices in the US, Australia and a network of agents and distributors throughout the world.

Hygienic Process Systems BV has been set up to sell HPS pigging systems and liquid transfer equipment in the Netherlands and Belgium. They will also offer complimentary process equipment from other suppliers.

Hygienic Process Systems BV is also the official, exclusive supplier in the region for HPS Product Recovery Solutions spare parts and accessories, including pigs, ‘AccuTect’ pig detectors, seal kits, valves, and other components.

What Is HPS Pigging Technology?

HPS pigging technology is in use throughout the world by companies that process liquids, especially those in hygienic (sanitary) environments. These include companies that manufacture foods, beverages, paints, coatings, household goods, and personal care products, and many others.

Pigging works by propelling a specialist, flexible projectile (the ‘pig’), through a pipeline. The pig has a diameter slightly larger than the pipe’s internal diameter, so it recovers practically all the residual product left after a product transfer. This product can then continue to be processed or sold, rather than being flushed to waste.
