A special event is planned for women veterans on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast.
A networking opportunity and more, the event includes such guest speakers as retired U.S. Army Maj. Adria O. Horn, director of Maine Bureau of Veterans Services, and others from the Women in Military Service for America Memorial and the University of Maine Student Veteran Program.
Lunch will be provided. There will be door prizes, opportunities to get and share information with each other and with representatives from various organizations, and free massages and salon services as time permits.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at Hutchinson Center, 80 Belmont Ave., with the program running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
