Road Closure Route 3029 (Second Street) - Smithton
PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of the closure of a section of Route 3029 (Second Street) located in Smithton, Westmoreland County. The closure will be located between Hoffman Road and Center Street. The closure will begin on Monday, October 12 at 7 AM and will reopen on Thursday, October 15 at 5 PM.
The closure will be in place to allow CSX Railroad crews to perform maintenance on the railroad crossing. A marked detour will be in place using Route 3029 (Second Street), Route 981, Route 3033 (Stahl Road/Jacobs Creek Road).
