Armed Forces Day & Reenlistment Ceremony at the Executive Mansion

NC Department of Military & Veterans Affairs Observes “Armed Forces Day”
Raleigh - In accordance with the proclamation issued by Governor Roy Cooper, the NC Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (NC DMVA) will commemorate the first annual NC Armed Forces Day Program in Raleigh. The event will take place on Friday, May 17th from 10am to 12pm at the North Carolina Executive Mansion, 200 N. Blount Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.
During the event, statewide enlistees and re-enlistees from the United States Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and their reserve components, will participate in an Oath of Enlistment Ceremony. Enlistees and re-enlistees along with their families, recruitment personnel and military unit representatives will participate in the Ceremony, and meet with NC DMVA Secretary Larry D. Hall, Rep. Grier Martin, Brigadier General Alberto C. Rosende, and Medal of Honor Awardee Colonel Walter Joseph “Joe” Marm Jr.
