Secretary Warner to join FOX News Host Dana Perino to discuss electronic voting options for WV’s military and persons with disabilities
Charleston, W. Va. – On Wednesday, April 22, Secretary of State Mac Warner will be a special guest on the FOX News network show, "The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino".
Warner will describe how and why West Virginia has become a national leader in electronic voting. In 2018, West Virginia was the first state in the nation to offer overseas and military voters the option to vote electronically in a federal election. In January of this year, the West Virginia Legislature expanded the option of electronic voting to registered voters with certain disabilities.
A web-based platform hosted by Democracy Live will be used by West Virginia in the upcoming June 9 Primary. A video of how that platform works can be found here.
The Daily Briefing with Dana Perino airs nationally from 2 to 3 p.m. on the FOX News Network. You can watch the news show online at https://www.foxnews.com/shows/the-daily-briefing.
