CLEARWATER, FL, US, December 13, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- On December 18th the Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) Center will host its final charity luncheon of the year, gathering local nonprofits to celebrate crossing the threshold of 2018 to 2019. Pam Ryan-Anderson, Executive Director for the Clearwater Community Volunteers, will deliver a personal message to the attendees of the luncheon about maintaining the foundation of their nonprofit – their volunteers.

Mrs. Ryan-Anderson has directed the activities of the Clearwater Community Volunteers for 16 years. Through her time as Executive Director, the nonprofit has grown its community events into large scale fundraisers, all of which raised thousands of dollars this year for CCV and other charitable organizations.

Mrs. Ryan-Anderson said, “The Clearwater Community Volunteers is based on volunteer work, and there’s a specific way that I take care of volunteers to keep people interested and happy to donate their time and effort. I believe that volunteers are the foundation of any nonprofit. At the luncheon I’ll discuss what I found successful – and not so successful – in directing the Clearwater Community Volunteers since 2002.”

The luncheons initially began in June this year and have had 28 nonprofits participate. There is no cost to attend

The CCV Center is an extension of the volunteer-based organization to further expand the CCV’s assistance to nonprofits. It does this by offering its facilities as a meeting space or event venue at no cost to nonprofit organizations.

“We started the luncheon with the goal of bringing Tampa Bay Area nonprofits together.” said Clemence Chevrot, Director of the CCV Center. “As a result, many of these organizations have gone on to form partnerships toward improving our communities.”
