Larson Electronics Releases 43’ Telescoping Fold Over 4-Stage Light Mast with H-Mount Mast Head

KEMP, Texas, Nov. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting sector, announced the release of a fold-over, four-stage steel light mast that can be deployed to heights of 43 feet and collapsed to 16 feet. This unit features a rotating boom allowing for 360˚ of rotation and a 44” wide removable H-mount mast head for easy storage. The mast is elevated via a 1,200lbs hand winch with an included 3/16” cable.

The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely and can typically be rotated with a single hand.

The LM-40-4S-3FT.H telescoping light mast is made of square steel tubing with an 11.25” long, 5” x 5” by 3/16” thick base, an 11.25” long, 4” x 4” by 1/8” thick lower section, an 11.25” long, 3” x 3” by 1/8” thick upper section, and an 11.75” long, 2” x 2” by 1/8” thick top section. Each of these sections has a 15” - 18” overlap. This light mast is mounted to trailers or other surfaces via a 15” x 13” x 3/4” thick mounting base plate that can be drilled to accept six 1/2” anchor bolts.

This telescoping light mast features a proprietary mast guidance system that provides stability during high winds, and when lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The tower weighs roughly 1,100lbs and can support and lift 150lbs fixtures. This unit is available in a powder coated or galvanized finish and is suitable for temporary lighting, construction sites and security camera deployment.
