A U.S. Embassy Delegation Led by Ambassador Barlerin Visits Ngaoundéré
On November 20, U.S. Ambassador Peter Henry Barlerin visited of the Association for the Care of Children in Difficulty (ASEED) Orphanage. ASEED Orphanage benefits from the assistance of a Peace Corps volunteer. Later in the afternoon, at the University of Ngaoundéré, Ambassador Barlerin delivered remarks to over 500 students and lecturers. He focused on the importance of dialogue in times of crisis and highlighted the different exchange programs offered by the U.S. Embassy. The Ambassador also visited the Innovation Centre of Excellence and the brewery and food processing units of the National Advanced School of Agro-Industrial Science (ENSAI). United States Ambassador donated hundreds of Nouveaux Horizons books at the orphanage and university.
