UNITA closes parliamentary activity in Cuanza Norte

The activities ran from 27 to 29 October under the motto "against corruption and social inequality in defence of inclusive and participatory citizenship".
According to the group’s leader, Adalberto da Costa Júnior, who described the results as positive, the event allowed to inform the participants on the priority issues in the group's action for next legislature.
Taking stock of the event, the official told the press that the activity was "successful" taking into account the issues discussed, with focus on the economy, anti-corruption and local authorities.
On the other hand, the politician defended the allocation of the big chunk of 2019 State Budget, whose debates begin on November 1 at National Assembly, to the social sector.
He said that the participants reaffirmed their position on geographical gradualism, which according to him, is a negative system in all senses.
The event included topics such as the impact of public policies on the families, analysis on 2019 budget - macroeconomic challenges, agreement with IMF and national development plan for 2018-2022 versus the country's macroeconomic reality.
The activity in Cuanza Norte included visits to some municipalities.
