Resolution of conflicts in Africa depends on peaceful political transition

Huambo, ANGOLA, October 9 - The current challenges of the African countries, embodied in the end of armed conflicts and social economic development, demands a peaceful political transition.,

This was said on Sunday in Huambo city by the member of the republic Council, Ismael Mateus, while addressing the theme on “The Political Transition in Africa” a conference run by Higher Education Polytechnic Institute, Sol Nascente.

 

According to him, the African countries need to adopt an authentic political transition model, based on local reality, instead of choosing a model from the Occident.

 

 Ismael Mateus, who is a writer, journalist and university teacher, underscored the urgent need for political transition of the African model, taking into account the influence from the Occident the continent has been through.
