The EXP-LED-HL-MSHA is a rechargeable LED headlight that produces 65 lumens of intense illumination via a single 2600 mAh rechargeable lithium battery. The battery will power the LED lamp on high for 15 hours and low for 60 hours. This headlight provides a full powered spotlight configuration with a beam reach of over 450 feet. The operation modes can be easily chosen, even while wearing gloves, with the use of a rubber dome push button switch.

The EXP-LED-HL-MSHA explosion proof headlight has a clip mounting system with an adhesive bracket for easy mounting to a user provided helmet, rather than a strap which can break or slip off. The clip is constructed of stainless steel and allows operators to remote the LED light by simply pulling the light out of the mount.

Rugged IP68 rated construction means this light is completely protected against the ingress of dust and dirt and resists the damaging effects of water even when submerged. The EXP-LED-HL-MSHA is impact and shatter resistant, enabling it to withstand rough handling and extreme wear.

“Traditional hard hat headlights with straps are prone to breaking, tearing, snagging and absorbing toxic chemicals, posing some potentially serious hazard to wearers,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “This headlamp eliminates these potential hazards by foregoing a strap and using a secure stainless-steel bracket instead, providing a safer headlight option for hazardous and industrial operations.”
