Sumbe, ANGOLA, August 25 - The provincial governor of Cuanza Sul, Eusebio de Brito Teixeira, demanded Friday a better performance of local staff, urging them to the need to produce innovative ideas for the development of the province.,

Eusébio de Brito Teixeira fez este pronunciamento na abertura do primeiro encontro provincial de Quadros  e Investidores, que decorre no Instituto Nacional de Petróleos.

O governador referiu que os quadros não se devem limitar a concluir uma formação universitária e profissional, esperando dai um emprego imediato ou mesmo uma nomeação para cargos de direcção  e chefia  para  se sentir valorizado  ou respeitado.

No entanto, acrescentou, devem produzir ideias para que a província possa ter um desenvolvimento sustentável.

De igual modo, referiu ainda ser necessário que os quadros tenham, em primeiro mão, a responsabilidade de auto-preparação  e valorização, procurando  actualizar-se constantemente e, desta forma, identificar as oportunidades  que possam  ajudar  a lançar-se no mer

Eusebio de Brito Teixeira made this statement at the opening of the first provincial meeting of staff and investors, which is held at the National Institute of Petroleum.

The governor said that professionals, he added, should produce ideas for the province to have a sustainable development.

On the other hand, he stressed that the province has great potential for diversified economic development, “we certainly have strong points that may interest those who want to invest in the province” the governor stated.

During the event, which ended also Friday, topics related to the current state of social, economic, cultural and political development of the province was addressed, as well as the administrative practices as a factor of development, land issues and their role for development and social cohesion.

Delegates, provincial directors, parliamentarians, municipal administrators, entrepreneurs, academics, students, traditional authorities, religious and guests participate in the event.
