PM plans cooperation with National Police
Luanda, ANGOLA, July 21 - The Military Police (PM) will cooperate with the National Police (PN) in operations to prevent crime, violence and disturbance of public order, said Friday the 2nd Army commander, Jaques Raul, during the celebrations of the PM's 26 years, marked on Friday.,
When the collaboration is carried out, the parties will jointly carry out the policing of the areas in which the presence of military personnel outside their units is frequent, in an irregular disciplinary situation or under the military uniform.
According to Jaques Raul, the combat is also aimed at the military involved in practices that violate the rules governing the discipline, the laws that govern the country and the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
The 2nd Army Commander said that the General Army Staff will continue to work on strengthening the Military Police, providing them with adequate infrastructure and the necessary technical means.
He considered it essential that the PM's governing bodies should be composed of appropriate officers, law-abiding, and capable of complying with military regulations and applying them to the least impulse of the higher command.
The Military Police was officially established in 1992, within the framework of the formation of the single army, resulting from the formation of the FAA.
