Angola, Morocco review bilateral cooperation

Luanda, ANGOLA, July 12 - Angolan minister of Foreign Affairs Manuel Augusto has been in Morocco for a two-day visit, under the existing bilateral cooperation with the north Africa country, Angop learnt Thursday. ,

 

 

The Angolan top diplomat left for Morocco last Wednesday, according to a press release from the Foreign Ministry’s Institutional Communication and Press Office.

 

The visit follows the meeting held by the Angolan Head of State and the king of Morocco, during Europe/Africa Summit, held in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, in October 2017.

 

The trip is also meant to reciprocate a visit by Moroccan Foreign minister, Nasser Bourita, to Angola last June.

 

Nasser Bourita was in Angola as King Mohamed VI's special envoy on June 21, during which he was received in audience by the President João Lourenço.

 

Angola and Morocco's cooperation covers various areas, with stress to education, agriculture sectors.
