Angola and USA negotiate memorandum on health

Luanda, ANGOLA, June 20 - Angola and the United States of America (USA) have been negotiating the signing of several memoranda of understanding, with high on the health domain. ,

According to the USA ambassador to Angola, Nina Fite, the two countries have been perfecting a malaria and HIV/Aids fight programme.

 

The American diplomat, who spoke to the press after a meeting with the Angolan President, João Lourenço, said that the trade relations between the two states are excellent.

 

She disclosed that the USA government has been following with interest the reforms taking place in Angola and the fight against corruption being conducted by President João Lourenço.

 

The United States of America and Angola established formal diplomatic relations in the year 1993.

 

The USA/Angola Trade Chamber is focused on promoting trade and investment between both countries.
