Luanda, ANGOLA, June 1 - Angola's President João Lourenço visit to France was highlighted by the international press, with stress to the Portuguese ones. ,

 

The foreign press stressed João Lourenço's commitment to diplomatic, political and economic fields in his European tour, started Monday in Paris, France.

 

In its Tuesday Edition, The electronic newspaper "O Observador" quoted João Lourenço as expressing Angola's intention to join the International Organisation of La Francophonie" on Monday.

 

The paper confirms Angolan President João Lourenço as having received the support from French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

 

Both stressed their desire to strengthen bilateral relations, cooperation in the fields of defence, agriculture, economics and staff training.

It stressed that during the meeting  with French head of State, the Angolan president expressed the will to see the country to become member of International organisation of La Francophonie.

During a luncheon offered by French counterpart at Eliseu Palace, the two Statesmen expressed, at press conference, the desire to strengthen bilateral relations, added "Expresso".
